Maulana Azad Medical College 
This department adds strength to the academic stature of this institute by being one of the best in the country. It has a dedicated 7 storyed building with a very active trauma unit at Sushruta Trauma Center. With five Director Professors and two Professors it is a very experienced team. The Department trains seven post graduate students each year. It runs two special clinics , on hand and sports. It is very well equipped with all different kind of advanced surgeries being performed. There is a deep freeze bone bank which is running for over two decades now. Over 2500 surgeries are performed each year with an average foot fall of 300 per day in the OPD. The department runs a prestigious PG teaching programme every year with over 250 PG students attending from all over the country.
