Training of the Academic Staff : 

We encourage our academic staff to participate in the conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops, journal clubs, micro-teaching sessions etc. to sharpen their skills and upgrade their knowledge on the subject. The staff undergoes training in medical education programmes from time to time. The department also contributes regularly to the Medical Education and Technologies' workshops held at MAMC. To update our knowledge and to keep abreast with the latest developments, weekly seminars and journal clubs are held.
The Department of Physiology Curriculum Committee is responsible for providing guidance to the academic staff on broad departmental policies and directives related to the teaching. It also encourages the students to provide suggestions, if any, to improve the quality of teaching.
The students' counselling committee of the department is always ready to guide and counsel the students for their personal or study- related stress.

The Internship Training Programme Committee: 

The department of Physiology also coordinates the rotatory internship programme. It oversees the posting schedule, assessment reports, leave records and internship completion certificates.

RTI :

There is one nodal officer in the department to co-ordinate the RTI queries/reply.
