Detection of Carbapenem and Colistin resistance mechanisms in Gram-negative bacilli and in-vitro evaluation of colistin sparing treatment options (Dr. Sonal Saxena, Dr. Prabhav Aggarwal, Dr. Vikas Manchanda) (MAMC/ Govt. of NCT of Delhi, (Budget: Rs. 2,99,300) under the scheme for strengthening medical research undertaken by faculty members of different departments of MAMC.
  2. National Programme for Antimicrobial Resistance Containment (MAMC- Site) (Dr. Sonal Saxena, Dr. Prabhav Aggarwal) (Funded by MoHFW: Rs. 40,89,572/).
  3. WHO-IAMM Network for Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance in Delhi (WINSAR-D)- MAMC Site (Dr. Sonal Saxena, Dr. Prabhav Aggarwal).
  4. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and serotype characterization of Streptococcus pneumoniae causing Pneumonia and Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) in Indian children (Dr. Vikas Manchanda) (Funded by ICMR :150 Lakhs, Initiated, Oct 2020 - Multi-site project with MAMC and Project coordinator).
  5. In collaboration with John Hopkin University: Evaluating Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) Impact on Pneumonia and Pneumococcal carriage Outcomes in India in Children 1-35 Months in India - Pneumonia Research and Vaccine Impact League (PREVAIL) Project. (Initiated January 2020) In collaboration of IVAC, JHU, USA funded by Pfizer. (Multi-site project with MAMC and Project coordinator) (Dr. Vikas Manchanda, Dr. Sonal Saxena, Dr. Oves Siddiqui).
  6. Development of “MAMC COVID INFORMATION PORTAL” to enhance Decision Making at different levels using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based information dissemination system (Initiated June 2020). (Multi-site project with MAMC and Project coordinator) In collaboration with industry. (Dr. Vikas Manchanda).

  15. Comparison of Gastric Biopsy and Stool as specimens for Real-Time PCR for detection of Helicobacter pylori infection. (PI: Dr. Prabhav Aggarwal, Budget: Rs. 2,99,000) under the scheme for strengthening medical research undertaken by faculty members of different departments of MAMC.
